Import Showdown

Well another Import Showdown has come and gone. Thankfully God kept the rain away and there were no injuries (to people anyway-some cars had a few problems though). Another six months and we will be back in Reynolds again. Just a few pictures that were taken, the rest are here

Atlanta Trip

Josh had a friend from Paraguay come visit us for a little while so we had to take him to Atlanta to the Georgia Aquarium, World of Coke, and of course Ikea. We went to Atlanta early in the day and spent a few hours in the Aquarium. Of course my camera went with us:
From there we walked the short distance across the green to the World of Coke.

After that, we went to Ikea mainly just because I like it. We ate lunch there and it was wonderful food and of course the shopping is always fun. Overall it was a great day.

Georgia

This is our new puppy Georgia. My mom says that we are now in "training" and it does feel like it. She is getting bigger all the time and is a lot of fun, though sometimes a hand full. She has claimed most everything in the house as her toys. Overall this has been fine, except for two pairs of headphones and my net book cord. The net book cord was soldered back together, but both headphones are toast. It is funny to watch and hear her run around the house chasing a two liter bottle and to watch her trip over her ears when she walks.

Title Explanation

First I wanted to explain where the title for this blog came from. I have been learning recently more and more about God's love and how wide and vast it is. I feel that these three types of love should be reflected in my life.

Agape: this is the highest love and is described best (I think) by Paul in 1 Corinthians 13.

Phileo: this is brotherly love and is how we should see others as well as agape

Eros: this is the love I have for my husband

To me these three types of love should tell how I live. The love for my husband should always stay passionate. Towards others I should exhibit agape and phileo. It is amazing to me how much God has blessed my life and shown love towards me. All I can do is thank Him and give back.
